finding feet and choxie leaves

lijah has made some new developments this past week. 1. he has found his feet! almost everytime hes on his back or sitting in one of his chairs he will entertain himself with those cute fat footsies. i love it! ive been trying to get a picture but he sees the camera and lets go so the one i snuck isnt that great but it works. 2. he sits up in his bumbo chair now! no slanting off and falling to the side, full on sitting up! such a big boy. 3. he ROLLED OVER! isnt this too early for that kind of thing?? he did it 3 times yesterday at my parents house. after each time he just looked very confused about what just happened. this is exciting but makes me nervous. no more leaving him lying on the sofa and assuming he will be there in a couple minutes. now we are at the start of a mobile being. its been really nice to know he cant move. but times are achangin apparently. our little man is so smart.
teething is here too. blast.
we found a home for choxie. we cannot keep our hyper little kitty cat. its sad, she was a christmas present from my sister and her husband almost 2 years ago and she was our baby. but now with the real baby shes getting a little too comfortable and gets a look in her eye like shes about to pounce him. shes going to a couple we know and im REALLY glad they are taking her. theyre really nice and have a whole house for her to run around in and she will be petted and loved. maybe even bathed. it will be nice to not have cat fur around and to not be constantly watching her to make sure shes not jumping into the bassinet but im still getting sad. im sure i will cry. shes standing on the computer staring at me as i type this...
oh ya, lijah also spent his first whole night in his own bed aside from when he was eating! normally he starts in his bassinet and when he gets hungry around 3 or so i bring him into bed and he eats and he stays in the bed. i have really enjoyed this way. hes so snuggly and warm. BUT hes not always so snuggly anymore. he kicks and fidgets and wiggles like crazy sometimes and mommy likes her sleep. and she likes to be next to daddy sometimes too. soooo we have officially started a night time schedule as of tuesday night AND he is sleeping in his bed between eatings. and he was totally fine with it! YAY for sleep!
